Foster Buns Need Your Help

We now have over 50 foster buns who need your help!  All of these buns are now spayed/neutered, healthy, friendly, and safe while waiting for permanent homes.  Please view/visit our buns and consider expanding your family with our super-easy bunny dating services and help us to continue to save more rabbits.  Also, please consider making a donation today so we can continue with our bunny rescue and education efforts.  Thank you! 

MARCH, 2007

Right before Valentine’s Day, we heard about a dire situation and were asked by the Las Vegas chapter of the House Rabbit Society if we could help.  It seems that the shelter had developed an outbreak of parvovirus and distemper amongst the dogs, and they decided to euthanize over 1,000 animals in the shelter.  All the dogs and cats were euthanized, whether or not they showed signs of illness, but it was decided that the rabbits would be released if rescues or individuals could take them in.  We received five rabbits from the Lied Animal Shelter in Las Vegas, and all are doing very well. 

SEPTEMBER, 2006

The Spa Day event on August 19 was a success!  The special day consisted of a complete rabbit grooming session at a discounted rate.  Bunny parents were treated to soothing music, tasty and refreshing water, and fresh vegetables while their fur kids were pampered with care.

AUGUST, 2006

BLRRC was recently made aware of a desperate overcrowding situation at the East Valley Shelter.  The East Valley Shelter had taken in a large number of rabbits, and some were due to be euthanized.  BLRRC rescued rabbits from the East Valley Shelter and welcomed them into our rescue.

MARCH, 2006

The Bunny Health Care Class held on March 11 went very well!   The Health Care Class covered topics such as signs from your bunny that indicate you should go to the vet right away, how to take a rabbit's temperature, basic rabbit anatomy, and how to treat minor rabbit ailments.

Caesar, Stephanie and Helena hold a Fundraising Committee meeting to come up with some bunny-money-raising ideas.
